The legendary home of the Clarets
Turf Moor has been the home of Burnley Football Club – aka the Clarets - ever since the stadium was built and opened in 1883. The Clarets were formed in 1882 and moved to Turf Moor the following year, where they’ve been going down in sporting history ever since.
Turf Moor is the world's second oldest continuously used professional football stadium, and our years in the game have helped us establish a solid reputation on the Burnley events scene.
